Omega Stainless Steel Automatic Item #2708 Price
Here we have an Omega Automatic (reference #14773) in very good vintage condition. It's housed in a solid stainless steel case that measures 34mm across without the crown and 40.5mm from lug tip to lug tip. It features a correct, signed Omega crown and a signed Omega crystal.
As can be seen in the photos, the original dial finish has aged. What you're seeing in the pictures is the lacquer coating over the finish that has changed color from the years. What's pretty special is that this one has aged nice and evenly from an off-white/silver sunburst to an almost champagne finish. Photos truly don't do it justice! It also features an applied Omega logo Matching faceted gold dauphine hands complete the look.
The watch is powered by Omega's in-house Caliber 470 automatic movement with 17 Jewels and micrometer regulator. Very high grade for the time period. Also, this series of movements were the very first Omega made with full rotation, non-bumper automatics. Beautifully finished, this is truly Omega at its best!
We paired the watch with a handmade Italian suede strap with contrast stitching that pairs nicely with the aged dial. A great vintage look!
